    Lyman EZY-Loader

I have a chance to get this 2 station metalic cartridge loader with a set of `06 dies and 2 shellholders. Problem is I don`t know anything about it. Anybody know anything about this old Lyman and what it may be worth in very good condition?Robert

I believe they are a three station press. The die that sits to the rear is nestled into a slot in the upper platen. If you look at the base and the shellholders, you will see three stations.

Send Floodgate a PM or check in with him at the Antique Reloading Tool Collectors' Association website.

He wrote them up for one of the editions of the ARTCA News.

It is a usable press with some frustrations. The center, rear die station is for sizing and requires a special die to thread in from the bottom. Lyman made them but they are hard to find. Some Redding dies have a small enough upper section to fit but it is hit and miss.
You could neck size with bushing dies in the front stations but exxcessive force will break them off.
Priming can be a challange, with this press it is best done off press.

Floodgate did not call it the Quezy Loader for nothing.

The photo is what you would need for dies and shellholders to load on the Ezy-Loader. 310 or 7/8-14 dies will work, the 310 fit better.

I just got one of these and had a hard time identifying it until looked at old Lyman manuals. I'll be looking for all parts, have no dies or other parts.
