eBay Lyman 358156 Hollow Point - Damaged?

Is it just my poor vision or are the front two crimping grooves and bands missing from this mould?

It kind of looks like an optical illusion with the vent lines where they are. You can see the crimp grooves inside the cavity.

The crimp grooves should be more visible than what`s in the pic , either 1 or 2 , looks as if there might be a little left of the front crimp groove ,but I mean a little!

Shore would lovetoseeit in the hand though , maybe ask the seller to e-mail different pics , at different angles ???

    I think I`d pass.

OK went & looked again , & ya see the loobe groove on the edges but not the crimp grooves, someone has removed em .
Even dug mine out & looked at it ,mine has crimp grooves.

I did the same on mine. The eBay mould has the shallowest crimp grooves I've seen on this style. Here is the Hensley & Gibbs version, design #135 for comparison:

    someone took them out.
it looks like whomever done it also made the hollow-point pin hole with a hatchet.

I was gonna say - That's one ROUGH looking cavity and hollow point pin shaft. Somebody fooled around with this one. Mike
