    Lost my dad tonight

After more than two years of fighting, the cancer finally got him. Growing up on a farm as a kid I still remember talking guns and reloading with him every morning before we headed to the barn for chores. I miss him already.

I am sorry to hear that. You have some great memories of your father and that is worth a lot. I pray for God's peace to be with you and your family.

My father died in 1999 and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of him at least once.

I lost my Dad a little more than 2 weeks ago, so I know how you feel. I'll say a prayer for you and your family.

Glad you shared that with him, I never had that with my dad. You have something to keep and share with your kids and grandkids and they likewise would share it with theirs..

30 years ago for me I still look down the street to see if his truck is in the driveway when I go by the old house. Time heals all but I still miss him.

So sorry for your loss. My dad went to be with the Lord in 2005. We also reloaded ammo together, and hunted together.

Prayers sent for the angels to bring comfort and peace to you and your family.
An old Cherokee was teaching his grandson about life. "Inside me two wolves fight," he told the boy.
"One is evil - he is anger, envy, greed, arrogance, self-pity, resentment, lies, false pride, and ego. The other is good - he is joy, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, generosity, truth and faith. The same fight is inside you - and every other person, too."
The grandson thought for a minute and asked,"Which wolf will win?"
The old Cherokee replied, "The one you feed."
