Just finished reading a book by Mykel Hawke. It's " The portable guide to getting out alive". It's a very informative book that covers survival skills in a wide variety of locations and their unique survival problems.
I learned a lot of things I don't want to ever to have to do to get out of a bad situation.
I love the Foxfire series. Very informative books on plain mountain living. If you have never read them you should.
