    kel tec sub 2k.

im sure plenty of people have different takes on a back pack gun. my personal choice is the kel tec sub 2000. ive had mine for a few years now and i have to say its size and function make it an excelent choice for a backpack carbine. i have mine as a companion to my glock 17 so i can share mags. anyone else own one?

i picked mine a few years back for 350.00. the price has gone up a bit recently. one upgrade i do recomend is the aluminum trigger. its like night and day between it and the sloppy plastic one.

Been wanting one of those for the last 4-5 years, and just plain can't find one at an honest price. Not paying the $750+ they ask on GB and at some gun shows.

Waay different type of gun, but if I ever wanted to hide one in a backpack, my M99 takes down plenty small enough, come to think of it my M14 does also, though I've never taken that one down.

I got one about 5 years ago used for 200.00. It is the G17 model and I love.

I have one of the sub 2000 in 9mm it was orginally set up to Beretta mags and I don't own a Beretta, but you can order the mag catch part from Kel-Tec to convert to s&w, or sig mags. Since I already had a Kel-Tec p11 that can also use S&W mags that is what I switched it to.
The glock models only do glock, can't convert them, but the other models can be switched from one to another. Good to know if you find a used one at a good price like I did!

It is really a fun little gun that surprises people with how well it can shoot, and yes I shoot it with cast bullets all the time.

    Take care,

    larrupin
