    Nope...his words were we are not changing production or re tooling for powder changes.

    I find it hard to believe that they are doing nothing to replace the lost revenue or to take up the production time used on the eliminated products.

    Who said it's lost revenue? It could very well have been losing money for the company. Only Hodgdon knows the answer to this. They're also the only ones that know about production time as well. We will never know all the reasons why they are stopping production. But I'm guessing it's because they were losing money on it.

    Several countries including France and UK no longer are manufacturing their own military ammunition. Instead they are outsourcing it to Asia, etc. The supply of new machinery naturally follows the new contracts.
