Blanco's first Big Batch with really bad picture

I decided to jump in and put my progressive to work.
The Boolit is a lee .401 / 175 Gr. FP from my 6 banger.
load is 5gr. Green Dot with a Remington 5.5 primer in assorted range brass
I loaded a little over 200 tonight. Now gotta go shootem up!

Pardon the bad picture, I never realized ammo was so hard to photograph.

I guess "big" is relative. My big batch was 4000+ shotgun shells in one day. That was 5 years ago and I was beat at the end of the day.

Enjoy ( was going to say "poor Kid", but sarcasm is often misunderstood). Boolit (as much as can be seen looks good. 10 mm?
We need somebody/something to keep the government (cops and bureaucrats too) HONEST (by non government oversight).

Every "freedom" (latitude) given to government is a loophole in the rule of law. Every loophole in the rule of law is another hole in our freedom. When they even obey the law that is. Too often government seems to feel itself above the law.

We forgot to take out the trash in 2012, but 2016 was a charm! YESSS!

    Actually .40 S&W
I made a small batch of these a week ago. I was held up in deciding on boolit lube formulas. My product tester is a buddy who has a place big enouogh to shoot on. The original loading was 5.4 Gr. Green Dot. Buddy said the were a bit on the hot side, so I backed off a bit. These should be fairly mild. He did say the first batch was very accurate, he just had trouble hanging onto the pistol. He mentioned they were rather torquey instead of the straight back type recoil.

At this point in my game I am a bit scared to load up a really big batch until I do some more testing. With powder getting harder to find I am less willing to make mistakes.

If you can find some 800x it works really great in 40 s&w full house loads. It's known as a shotgun powder so can be seen on shelves when the pistol powders are gone. Downside is its a flake powder so doesn't meter as well for some folks but flows fine through my lee auto disc. It's the Bees knees in my M&P 40!!!

I only have about 1/4 lb of Green Dot left
I'm trying to use it all up and then I will switch over to Unique. Not sure but I think Unique will work well with all my cast boolits.
I'm not in to trying to see how fast I can make it go... Just make it go consistently.

Unique is great with cast in 40. I get my best groups with the slower powders like HS6, Longshot, and 800x. Hope you have luck finding Unique where you are. Around here it's as rare as Hens teeth. I lucked out and bought 8lbs of it when I first started.
