Question? It may be here but I can't find it.

Is anyone epoxy or powder coating .223 and shooting them at full powder load? Why kind of results are you getting with gas checks and without? I know someone has to be doing that or at least trying it.

Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats. -- H.L. Mencken

The notion that a radical is one who hates his country is naïve and usually idiotic. He is, more likely, one who likes his country more than the rest of us, and is thus more disturbed than the rest of us when he sees it debauched. He is not a bad citizen turning to crime; he is a good citizen driven to despair.― H.L. Mencken

    Short answer.

At least one guy has driven bullets at full speed and reported no leading but I do not recall if he shared the round count.

As far as I know, no one has achieved an accurate (OK - at least what I call accurate - under 2 MOA) high speed load with coated bullets expect for popper in the .308 out an AR.
