The Lyman Loverin 266466 (that is a typo; should be 266455) or the 6.5 Kurtz (was a Group Buy mould). The 266455 would be my 3rd choice.

Never heard of the 266466, But I have heard of the 266469
Based on a recommendation from Larry, I bought an old 266455. Overpaid a little, but I was happy to get it in great condition!
At 130 gr., more or less, it is a little light for long-range shooting, but I don't do much long-range shooting, so the mold is one I REALLY enjoy. Now I just gotta get one of those 266469 molds. I keep seein' 'em, but WAY too much for them right now. A guy can wait this out for a few more months to settle.

never heard of a 266466 , can't even find one when I google it
Typo -- it's a 266469.
I wonder what this bullet drops out of the .mold at. I slugged my bore at .265-.266.what are you sizing your bullets to?
Depends on your Swede but would bet a .268 to .270 throat

And I would guess your bore is closer to .258/.259

I use a 266469 mould made by BRP for my Swede. It drops from the mould at .268, and I size to .266 to fit my rifle.
It's a great boolit that I use for the military bolt silhouette matches here at Pala. 200 yard rams take a high hit for reliable knockdown with the 140 grains this boolit provides, so I'm on the list for the correct remake of the cruise missile by Mihec.
Anyone try the http://noebulletmolds.com/NV/product...roducts_id=112
Might check with BaBore; I think he makes a good mould for the original Kurtz.

I have both of BaBore's molds, mine drop at 0.268 as does my one from Lee. The Kurtz also works well in a 6.5 TCU.
Gun control 1ST ROUND ON TARGET.
So, where do I go from here? Noe said no 6.5 molds until July.
Accurate Moulds will make you up one with a fairly short lead time.
I can't say I've ever done as well with cast in the 6.5X55 as well as I did with cast in other guns (.30 and 8mm), or as well as I do in the 6.5 with jacketed, but I have done PRETTY well using the Lee cruise missile. Thing is to get velocity up; i've done best with 4198 and 3031 with enough powder to push 2100 fps and a hard alloy with gas check and either Felix or BAC lube.
FWIW, I can do about 1.3 inches at 100 benched with a 160 gr rn jacketed, or 2.5-3" with the cruise missile in my 96 Swede. Still haven't found a load that does well with the 38 short rifle, but might want to go with a shorter, lighter mold.
