My Military Babies!! Pattern 53 Enfield Rifle - Model of 1903 Mark I Springfield

Well I wanted to share some job with everyone. Here are the two babies. The P53 is my wife's gun, she has been wanting it for a long time and finally found one... The other is my 1903 Mark I, which is actually on a delivery truck on its way here, so hopefully it remains in one piece!! I am looking for an original sling and sight hood (circle P) and oiler for the 1903 if you see one, I'd be interested.

P53 Enfield? I thought the pattern 53 was a musket? As in pattern 1853?

I think he meant to post images of both his Springfield and an Enfield musket belonging to his spouse, but the images of the musket aren't showing up.

Correct...I will get some pics up with both of them soon...and yes the P53 aka Pattern of 1853 Enfield Rifled Musket is a Potts & Hunt .58 cal.
