    I don't live in Boone, but it's one of my favorite areas to ride my motorcycle and I am there fairly often. You didn't say what you need, but maybe I can help.

    I don't know what information you are seeking about the Boone area, but, if it is shooting related, the Boone Gun Club has a nice range off of Castleford Road. They are active trapshooters, with an ATA registered shoot every month, except during the winter. There is a 300 yard rifle range, covered shooting posts, a pistol range, and organized shooting to suit every taste. The winters are severe there, so activities are curtailed during that time. If you are in that area, check them out. They are friendly folks.
