    It`s been mentioned elsewhere, and not in a positive way. (Oh well)

    There are so many new members here that may not know the 110`s history...and I can not find a good link to the 1958 American Rifle Magazine article, so...

    Wish Mas had not left out Brewer's earlier design, which had a lot of the features that made the Savage 110 what it is. The unappreciated Savage 340. In .222 Remington it also shoots well above it's class. Brewer wasn't as prolific as Browning or the Mausers, but he did design one heck of a rifle.
