    Weaver v12 scope questions

Could someone tell me if this scope was actually made in the USA? I know it it says that on the scope but I have found with other products it doesn't always mean it was actually made here but rather that the headquarters is here. It has parallax adj up to 1000 yards. It is a very clear scope in excellent condition but I cannot rotate the power adj past 6.5. At that power it feels like it hits an internal lock and I don't want to try and force it. I would also like to know if anyone can give me an idea of its value?

The V12 Variable was made from 1968 to 1984. Weaver shut down in `84 due to the flood of import competition. Omark Industries took over in `88.

Can`t speak to value, as it needs repair. Try these folks in Oklahoma for assistance:

Thanks Scott & Larry. Scott, I will call the repair company in Oklahoma tomorrow. It does say on their site that it will take 15 to 16 months and a minimum of 110 bucks. It is a beautiful scope and very sharpe to look through.
