Don't use them all up. Vintage cans need some contents for the next owner.
I have a couple cans like that sitting in my garage right now. I actually just sold three unopened vintage cans of .22 gas checks in cans like that on ebay. I would be embarrassed to say how much they got bid up to. Somebody sure wanted them more than I did.
As with alot of items like this, the can is worth more than the content for collectors. I have a few old cans like that. I also had some old remington primers. The packaging was wood slat dividers. I also have some old bullet boxes that are plane jane cardboard with a wrapper that just says Vernon D Speer with the outline of a bullet on it. Neat old stuff.

I bought a can of 7mm at a garage sale last summer for $5.00 and $7.00 for 7000 old Lyman in .30 cal. that are push on. I think they are brass. I know they fall off in flight but they work great and I can't tell any difference between them and the crimp on.
