    sizing question

I have a savage model 11 in 308, and is slugged at .308 measured with a micrometer. Should I size my boolits in the .308 or .001 over?

.310 generally works in all my 30 cal rifles newer than 1950

I would say no. Use a .309 die just to crimp the gas check on. This should not size your boolit.

I still recommend a .310" die. It's OK for the gascheck to be a little larger than the boolit when you have a .310" throat... which is SAAMI spec for a .308W.

It's not about gun control, it's about people control. The progressives are using terrorists and the insane to further their agenda. If the socialist news media wasn't complicit, we could sit back and watch Fast & Furious and Benghazi-gate unfold.
