I went with Winchester, but that means pre 64 not post 64.

I've only owned Winchester 94s, Marlin 1895, Henry .22, and Rossi 92s. The Rossi 92's must be my favorites since I shoot them the most with the little Henry running a close second. The Rossi 92s are fun and I can afford more of them due to their price point. Another big plus for them is that pistol calibers are much cheaper to reload than rifle calibers. I wouldn't part with the others, they have their place and uses, but the Rossi group get most of my shooting action.

I forgot to mention that I also really like the action on the Rossi 92. (and it just looks like a lever gun should look IMHO)

Ruger and Rossi. Rugers because the actions are so doggone smooth, and Rossi because (unlike older Winchester 94's) Rossi's are actually affordable.

First, the Rossi, along with a couple o' Mosins. This is what I call, "Old-School Freedom".

And the Ruger 96/44, along with its 10/22 brother and a Redhawk. This is what I call, "New School Freedom With An Old-School Accent".

This is a great thread. I voted Savage. Have a Model 99 in 300 Savage that was my Grandma's deer rifle and is complete with dings in the stock and barrel pitting (outside) from sweaty horse scabbards etc. I love it and it shoots great.

I've shot a Browning 22 and Winchester 30-30 a couple times each and liked them both.

Tough choice, I own several in each Winchester, Marlin, Browning and Henry. Had to vote for Winchester as they are a classic. My boys love the Browning short throw 22s.

I have Marlin Browning and Winchesters. The one I like the most is a top grade Model 64 Winchester in 30-30. It is not likely the most accurate (Browning 358 or Marlin 30-30 - both are more accurate), the most handy (Model 94 Win in 32 special) or the most powerful (Browning 358). Why do I like it so much??? I know I do, but I am not sure why.

At todays prices, I like the Rossi M92. Best bang for the buck. Have 2 .44 Mags right now. Need a little smoothing work but are top notch now.

I went with Browning as my two favorites are the Browning version of the 1895 and the BLR. That said, I have a hard time turning away any of the older Winchesters.

Like so may here I have to go with the Winchesters. Model 94's marked as made by Winchester (pre '82?) and especially the pre war (WWII) 94's. Like those little 92's too!

My "other" vote was because I own more of these than any other lever gun, the Martini Cadet.

Well Gents, I have to go with Winchester!!

    I have a Model 1894, mfg. 1898 .25-35 Carbine that is a great shooter and I also have a Pre-64 Model 94 .30-30.

Both are terrific and worth their weight in Gold!!

    I just love them!!
