300 blackout 120 grain cast bullet??

I'm looking for a mold to cast a 100 - 120 grain bullet that will feed in the 300 Blackout. I have some 110 grain j-words that will not seem to allow the bolt to close no matter how deep I seat them. It seems as though the round nose hits the rifling in the leade too soon and keeps the bolt from going all the way into battery. Any one have a recommendation in this weight range for a pointedty spire point for one they have used?

    i'd look at.
    the 311359,311441,311465,311576,and the311316
the 359 is probably your best bet it fits your description the closest.
those are all lyman numbers and they are all gas check designs in the 115-120 area.
i have no idea if they are still made anymore.

That is a great mold, but you need a gas check for the AR. If you plan on trying it you will need to keep it so slow it will not cycle the action, and run some super sonic through it to clear out the gas tube. If you want to run without a gas check and be able to cycle the action look at the subsonic offerings such as the lee 309 230 blk, or the NOE 311247. The lee 310-155 2R works great, but is heavier than what you are looking for. You just missed a group buy for the 311410 hollowpoint with a gas check. That should be a sweet shooter for fast blackout loading's.

Check out this group buy. http://castboolits.gunloads.com/show...rass-Cramer-HP

It's closed but there is a list started for the extras that are always made.

I have a SAECO 120gr gas checked mold that might be what you are looking for in the way of design. There is a small shoulder on the boolit before the nose starts. Let me know if you would like to try some of these boolits.

That is the SAECO mold I have. Bought it right about election time for $128 at Midway. I really like SAECO molds but they are pricing themselves out of the running when I can buy a custom mold for the same or less.
