    585 pedersoli mould?

HI. I have a chance to pick up a Pedersoli mini ball mould in the .585 /500 size I've been looking for, in pure lead of course ... at a $100, it's high...anyone have experience with the Italian moulds? Will it cast a true .585 and what is the quality?
    thanks experts...... Ken s

..............Ken, welcome to the board. I don't have that mould but I do have their SC mould to drop a 475gr .451" slug for the LR match muzzle loaders. It is of superb quality in all respects. The blocks are of about the size of a Lyman for a boolit of that size. Overall I'd certainly rate it's quality (fit, finish, machine work, and appearance) well above that of Lyman and at LEAST as good as RCBS or Saeco's.

thanks Buckshot. I decided against that mould because of it's 630 grain size...too much ...I've ordered the RCBS 419 size at .584. from Midway. hope it works....my undersize mini is printing 3 inches center at 50 , so the 'old girl' still has a lot of life but I don't want to push it with a 600plus grain piece of lead... Ken
