????Lee TL356-124-2r for .35 Remington plinking Load??????

    Hello just Picked up a .35 Remington/Marlin 336C Microgroove.
Has anyone tried the LeeTL356-124-2r which is intended for the .380 auto? Perhaps if I "Beagled the mold to get closer to .360"? Was thinking about 7 or 8 grains of Trail Boss. What are your thoughts?

    Thanx

I shoot the Lee 120TC( 9MM) in my .357 levers with good accuracy to 200 yds. You won't know till you try!

Been wanting a rifle just like you described for a long time.
Got a 94 Marlin in 38/357 that I shoot a lot of cast bullet through and it would really be no differant than yours in 35 Rem.
I run the Lyman 358429 and the NOE 360180 through my handguns and rifles with zero problems. Do have to load the 358429 in 38SPL cases because of its length in the 94 Marlin.
The NOE 360180 once checked and lubed runs right at 185gr.
You should be able to come up with a load that will be fun to use and can be used to take small game while out after big game.

If you dont cast for them send me a PM and maybe we can work some type of trade out.

I shoot lots of Lee's 356-120-TCs sized at .360 (as cast) in my 35 Rem over 5 gr Bullseye. Excellent small game and plinking load at 1160 fps out of my 26" barrel (Shilen rebareled M91 Mauser) which holds 1 1/2" groups all day long at 50 yards. I see no reason why the Lee TL356-124-2r won't work as well. Start at 3 gr of Bullseye and work up to 5.5 gr; the accuracy will go south when the load gets too fast.
