I pick up after people at the range I go to as well. Bullets in the berms and brass people leave on the ground.

We had a similar issue at a range we frequent and now they have a range officer posted

Little do these slobs know how good they have it. When I lived in the L.A. area I went to three different places to shoot outside the urban area. All three are closed now because the county had to clean up the sites. Now the shooting outdoors is very limited in L.A. County and for the about the last 12 years I lived there I only shot at 50' indoor ranges...

While I clean up the range I somehow end up with lots of brass and sometimes lead, even though range policy might be to leave it, the safety officers don't mind so much when I'm helping them out.

Good for you, keep it up.
I do the same and sometimes I just get mad as all get out. It's hard to believe how down right sloppy and UN-caring some people can be, slobs is a good description.
