    New to gas checks...questions.

I was getting ready to order a box of Honaday gas checks for my .38/.357 mag, and am confused by the size. I'm assuming that the .375 cal checks are .375 dia prior to sizing and could be used for a .356-.359 boolit? I'm considering the Lee DC C358-158 SWC mold which seems to have generally good review. The price is another factor. Is the .375 check the correct size for .38 cal?

You need 35 Cal checks for 38/357.

Remember, the 38 Special really fires a .357 diameter bullet (35 caliber).

Thanks for straightening me out on this! I'll probably be giving them a try in a month or so.

    the 375's are for the 375 win/H&H, 375 ruger and the 38-55.

Good advise! Note that the larger the GC, the more expensive they are.
