I just took a piece of aluminum rod, chucked it in the drill press and used some files to make a flat 358 diameter top punch. I use that now for all of my 38 bullets except the round noses.
If you can't turn your own top punch as polara suggested, you can get a top punch that is basically the same thing from Accurate Molds. Tom sells flat top punches in 3 different sizes to fit 30 cal, 38 cal, and 45 cal (of course they'll also work for other sizes too) made from aluminum, and the last time I checked they were all of $2.00 each. When I bought my first mould from Tom I got 2 of each size, so in case I lost one, or some how ruined it I still had a backup. Aside from being more universal than a fitted top punch, the flat ones also have the advantage that if your sizer isn't in perfect alignment (as it seems some are not), using a flat top punch allows the boolit to self align into the sizing die so you won't have bent boolits.

Thanks for the info dont know why i didnt think of that turning my own. I went to community college for machine tool and die. I guess its because im back in school again in pursuit of a new degree and lost all thought of my skills from the past. Hell thats how ive got all my powder bushings for my shot shell presses
I think that will be a #429 Lyman top punch.

For most flatnosed 357 I use the 495 top punch , it has just a very shallow cavity to center the noses of most rnfp & swc designs .
If I had it to do over I`d hit up the perfessor for TPs.
