What is the most popular bullet mold caliber, weight, style?

I use to make and sell 10 cavity bullet molds, about 20 molds every week for 5 years. I sold my last bullet mold in 1991.

I have 10 blank molds that I can machine to any caliber I want so I need to know the most popular caliber bullet so I can machine these last 10 molds.

I want these 10 molds to be a quick easy sell. 9mm, 10mm and 45 ACP to sell good.

I can hand cast 9mm 125 GN RN BB, 3200 bullets per hour using the RCBS lead melt pot.

Larger bullets like 45 ACP were slower about 2500 bullets per hour.

I already have tooling to cut 100s of bullets.

All the tooling is going to be for sale soon on ebay.

These go FAST even in 1 holers ,Lyman 358429 173gr. Keith SWC

But a Lyman 358446 will work in both short & long 38/357 chambers , a 160gr. swc with 2 loobe grooves.

In 44 the node goes to the Lyman 429421

you are gonna get 50 different answers.
if you would cut all 10 into different molds, including rifle calibers, i would probably buy them all.

Tell me what calibers you want?

I have a 30 cal carbine bullet that I designed for my rifle. It works better than any others I have seen. It will not jam and feeds very smooth.

Off the top of my head I'd say a .38 caliber SWC or FRN plain base of about 150-160 grains. A .45 caliber RN running about 230 gr., a 200 gr SWC for 45 ACP and a good RFN of 160-180 grains in .30 caliber. Those calibers seem to be used by shooters that shoot a lot...

When I was making molds it was rare to sell a 38 or 357 mold once every 6 months. 9mm and 45 ACP were the big sellers. 10mm was just starting to get popular.

I think I will make a 9mm and 45 ACP if they sell easy I will make 2 more.
