    You know, that statement and the event - First Pigs for my Son and I - is so wonderful to read and know about. It is heart warming to say the least. And inspiring.

    My sons have flown the coup now but my young great-nephew is still out there and is very keen on hunting and savouring game (even if it is only rabbits and hares and the odd wild boarlet and feral goat). I introduced him to rabbit biltong and he loves it. (Biltong is salt cured dried meat with appropriate spices). He will be taken pig hunting very soon. (He's the fella in my avatar holding his first hare).

    Conngrats, always good to have your son on any hunt. I was fortunate to be there for my son's first deer, will never forget it. Some of that country around Harrison can be pretty rough, born and raised not too far from there. Glad you had a good time. see ya, Phillip
