    Well....I finally ordered one!

Just got off the phone with Mary over at Star.

Ordered up a star lubrisizer and an air cylinder.

I love to make things myself, but for $100, I just didn't want to mess with a home-made air option.

I was told it will be four to six weeks.

Ordered my dies from the Lathesmith............

    Can't wait!

Don't know, ain't got one. Thais next on want list. Just saying I ordered the heater when i ordered mine cause I like the harder lubes, felt it was more important than the air feed at this time, BUT I will, it's just a mater of getting over the purchasing shock.

I ordered up a Lyman heater from Amazon. $53 and free shipping. I couldn't built one for that kind of money. When it gets here I'll drill a hole for my PID probe and use my casting pot PID to maintain perfect temperature.

Ya gotta admit, this casting, reloading and shooting is just way too much fun........I feel sorry for folks that never got involved with the shooting sports......

I did the same thing you did...My first Star was brand new from Magma (A la Mary). Congrats on your purchase. You'll wonder how you've done without it all these years!

Based on recommendations here, I ordered the air cylinder a year after my original purchase. I shouldn't have waited that long. Really really cool...Mike

I'm jealous. I had to wait 16 days for mine.
    Congratulations.

You might want to get the shovel handle. Next best accessory to the air cylinder. Have fun with your new purchase.
