Does it have a load for the 221 Fireball? If yes I may go buy one. They quit posting Fireball data around 2004 or 2005 in favor of short magnum data. I guess to conserve page count but never understood why they dropped some of the oldies but goodies out of the lineup.

Yes, for both rifle and pistol (Contender-type).

I have an XP-100 in .221 and plan on getting a Cooper M21 next year in that caliber.

Got mine at Barnes and Nobles. It is not as good as some of their other yearly reloading guides but still not a bad read.

I bought it for the 300 BLK Data when I saw that they included 150gr bullet loads as the previous load data had been for either light (110-130gr) super-sonics or heavy (180-220gr) sub-sonic jacketed bullet combos.

Of course, after I read the article I found out my load that i had worked out for my 147gr FMJs was right in the middle of what they recommended. Sometimes its good to see my personal work validated in a national magazine...

I did buy the magazine for the updated load data as well although I haven't finished checking all 15 calibers that I load for to see if there have been any major changes to the recommended loads.

For powder manufactures, I just use the PDFs from their website or email about a particular caliber I'm loading for. :shrug:

Does it list which ADI powders are equivalent to Hodgdon (ie made by ADI) and therefore are substitutable using the same data?

I do understand why they went to the annual "magazine" publication, put out new information quicker. But I do miss the bound book manuals. There is just something about the heft of the book. I feel like I am holding real knowledge. I have been buying the annuals magazines since they came out but somehow I missed the 2005 edition. I keep my eyes open to try and find one to complete my collection. Talk about obsessive compulsive!
