    824th Platoon San Diego -1943

    Hello, any members here from that era ? My father served and he will be 88 this
    December. He doesn't really say very much about his service in that war. I know he
    remembers some events ..but never really says much. I just want to say..that I'm proud he was a Marine and did what he had to do to come back home to the USA.
    If anybody here knows someone from that era . Pm me with any info . I have an old picture of the 824th made that year in 1943. I can email you that pic upon request.
