Crawdaddy, I can make a Star die in .225, but you'll have to go to one of the mold vendors to get yourself a good mold for 22.

    Thanks,

On certain occasions, you just need to have a gun. When being attacked by a 1000 pound grizzly bear you don't pepper spray him like he was a mugger in central park. - James Norton

    Another happy camper

Just to say thanks to Lathesmith. He made me a sizing die, and just like before, I am very happy with the die. I'm a repeat customer, and will buy his products in the future!

Just in case everyone gets bored reading the same thing, here it is again.

I ordered a few lock nuts and punches and had them in hand in less than 2 weeks. Personal opinion, but they are every bit as good as the original Stars. I PM'd Chris on this, but neglected to add my .02 worth on the forum.

40s&w 10 MM star sizer die

I have lone wolf conversion barrels for my Glock 29sf . in 40 S&W and 10 MM. The chambers are substatially smaller on the LW barrels. Currently, reloaded cast bullets in both calibers need to be Swaged down with the dillion Sizer die, without the primer punch. for realiable feeding. I have read so many conflciting view that cast bullet should be larger than the bore or larger than the chamber . that just now I have no clue, what size Star sizer die I need to order from you. Jacketed bullets, being smaller do not cause a problem.

Could I send you a fired case and have you make me a"underszie" die that will not cause a bludge in the case. My idea may not work but seems reasonable. Any suggestions?? I have some as cast bullets if needed

357, how do those rounds that are swaged down with the sizer die shoot? If they shoot OK, maybe you could swage one down, and then pull the bullet and see what size it is after swaging. Since jacketed slugs are (or should be) .400, I would think this would be about what your pulled cast slugs would measure. If you don't have a way of measuring them, you can just send them on to me and I'll handle the rest.
