    222 rem and cast

    does lee make a 22 cal mold?? will be for small game and plinking

    Lymans 225 462 is an excellent bullet for the .222 Rem. I think there was one on the WTS forum.

    Ranch Dog may have a 22 cal. mould available, made by Lee. It would be a tumble lube, gas check, and I think 53 gr.
    I checked and he does not list one, maybe it's in the works.

    I'm using a Lyman 225415HP in mine and it loves it./beagle

    I just ordered the 6 cavity Bator from mid south today along with a sizer. The mold was 36 bucks and the sizer was 15. No handles on the mold. They have a two cavity for 18 bucks but it said stock was low and I didn't want to have it backordered.

    I like the Lyman 225462, 225438, 225415. I have been shooting the 415 in a Hornet and a 222. I use fast powder (Unique, Bulls Eye) for 1000fps type loads and 4895, 2520 and H414 for the fast(Varmintizing) loads 2400 fps is doable and is a killer on chucks and crop damaging rabbits.

    I hope you got the handles also. Trying to cast a 6 pack without handles can be a real learning experience as some have posted here.
