Clear Silicone Dielectric Tune-UP Grease. If South Idaho has no car parts stores there is plenty of suppliers online for silicone dielectric grease.

According to this post, the answer to that question is no.

Bruce381: The problem I had with the RCBS case lube was it just burned on the surface and quit working after about 20 pours. I put it on just like Bullplate, very sparingly to a hot mould. Just goes to show how different results can be between casters.

gear what I ment was I have in the past used nothing at all and the case lube II was better than nothing at all but yes it did not last real long but as I have learned nothing at all is a pain.

I have found while doing a project at work that high temperature and any lubricating liquid do not mix. All of my work was done around 400F. Any mineral oil will carbonize and any silicone oil will polymerize over time at these temperatures. I used products in the price range of $65-1500 per gallon. They all failed.

That being said, I still use Bullplate and anti-seize without hesitation.

While I have no new or hard info, his website says "No orders April 1 through October 15." I'm not sure what the surprise is. I hope he and his family are doing well and any rumors are just that. If and when he opens, I wouldn't mind ordering some more lube; while I never found I needed to lube most molds (minus one sticky Lee Minie mold) I love speed green for black powder shooting.

I have never used Bullplate, so maybe I'm missing a great product. I have used the mould lube supplied by Mihec, as well as a mold lube being sold by a seller on both eBay, and GunBroker (same lube, I assume same seller). Both have worked great for me when used in the same fashion as I've seen described for using Bullplate. If a mold lube is needed NOW, I would buy a bottle of the eBay sellers stuff to hold you over till Bullplate is available again.

I've run out of the stuff I bought on eBay, but I have several small bottles of the Mihec lube, and will be getting some real Bullplate when I get some moulds I've bought from NOE group buys, as well as more of the Mihec stuff when those GB moulds come in, so I'm set for a while. I actually really look forward to getting my first NOE mould so I can see if Bullplate works better than the ones I've used so far, or if they're all about the same (as well as getting to use an NOE mould!).

Any pure silicone oil with no added petroleum or petroleum distillates added is also excellent. Interesting I have a jug of pure silicone oil that is old toner for the really old copier machines. I've used it for waterproofing boots. Ill give it a try.
