22 Hornet Springfield M6 Scout by CZ

Regarding the M6 in 22 Hornet over 410. What sort of reputation do these have as to accuracy, and reliability?

If anyone reloads .22 Hornet for use in an M6, what loads give the best results?

    Thanks.

I can't speak to the specific of the M6 but my CZ hornet is very accurate. I suspect the trigger and sights will be a limiting factor in the case of the M6. Depending on what you mean by best results, H110 and jacketed 30 grain bullets give me the highest velocity. Small pistol primers give me smaller groups. AA1680 with modest charges and just about any appropriate bullet usually gives the best accuracy in my rifle. YMMV

I can't tell you about the Hornet, but my .22 M6 is very accurate after you get used to the squeezer trigger.

Mine is as accurate as you can cut the sights. Mine is a .22LR over .410. You can work the trigger with just your index finger also, and it's not that bad in any respect.

As far as reliability goes,,,, A stone axe is a good comparison.

Mine has been my "jeep gun" for many years, as it velcros into the lid of my Jeep tool box behind the seats perfectly.

Nice to have a gun stashed when out in the desert of CA.
