    Question for American Rifleman Lube

For those of you that have used the American Rifleman formula lube for pan lubing of 1 part paraffin/1 part mutton tallow/1/2 part beeswax. I need it to be a bit more stiff. What should I add and how much? Many Thanks, Jerry

A bit more paraffin will stiffen it up. The addition of anhydrous lanolin will make it cling more.
Next we will have a discussion of mutton tallow, bear tallow, pig tallow, butter, Crisco, and petrolatum.
1 part paraffin, 1/2 part Xlox 350, 1/2 part petrolatum, 1 part beeswax
