    I think lee make some fine moulds. I have 3moulds of lee they are 6 cavitys 358 dia. But aluminium moulds dont have a long life like iron moulds.

    I no nothing about machining but the moulds work fine. Do you now other mould companies who have nose-pour moulds.

    Sven, I believe that richard Hock still makes nose pour molds as well as some othere who shootschutzen style. Paul Jones comes to mind and theyre may be others with which I am not familiar. Frank

    And Lyman's hollow-base moulds are nose-pours, but they are cherried from the bottom, through the base-plug opening. Lyman did make a short run on the Paul Matthews #457676 for the .45-70 as a nose-pour, but the long bullet left the mould bas pretty thin, and some casters have found it hard to keep the mould hot enough for good fill-out.
