Anyone have any experience with a Herter Lube sizer? Are the sizing dies much different than Lyman or rcbs?

Got a photo? My guess is that it is just a Herters branded version of some company's
existing lubrisizer. Probably Saeco, Lyman or RCBS, but maybe not. A pic would help
a lot.

If it was easy, anybody could do it.
Herters?? It's for sale locally and it has no die with it. Most dies are fairly easy to make if you have a lathe. I have made several for my Lyman 450 luber sizer. For this one I would need a sample die in order to make up the size I need.
This was my first lube/sizer. I have used it with Lyman dies, but when I bought a L450, I installed a die marked .3105, also bought from Herter's. Use it for Ruger .30 Carb BLKH, .300 Sav, .30-30, .30 Herrett, .30-06. Haven't changed it since about 1975. Filled with Mirror Lube until I run out. The die is locked in with a set screw so your sizing die should have a relief groove on it for the screw. I don't see a screw for the sizing die. Looking from in front of the body where the sizer fits down ~1/4". Does this one have a lock ring like lyman/rcbs? If so, chances are a std die will fit.

Looks like a re-branded Saeco sizer...Ray

I've got the itch, but don't got the scratch.
Herters marketed two different sizing presses. One was a Perfection #49 that used dies that were interchangeable with RCBS & Lyman presses. The other was a Bulletmaster that used Saeco type dies. I have no experience what those so I can't say if they'll interchange, but have heard other guys on this board say they will. ...Geo

Looks like a Saeco, probably take Saeco dies. Get a member with a Saeco to send
you the outside diam and length of a die.

One of these just sold on e-bay for around 70.00 without die. Thought that might be a bit pricy.
