    Finally did it

    This is one of the best days ever. Just finished up casting approximately 300 230gr Lee Tumble lube's for my .45 Auto. That may not be much but this was my first successful, really successful, casting session. You can not imagine how happy this makes me. Been almost a year getting to this point. Not counting one attempt over 40 years ago. These boolits look really good. A few frosty ones now and then. Must have put a hundred back in the pot. I won't get to lube them or even check them out until tomorrow but I can't wait to go shoot some. Range report later.

    45/45/10 LLA/JPW/mineral spirits. I wiped it off the nose after they were load, it won't do any good up there and just collect lint.

    Isn't it great! you made your own bullets its a great feeling. In a year you'll wonder why you bought them at all and you can shoot all you want for almost nothing!!! You'll be scavenging Wheel weights before you know it!~~
