    Awesome casting/reloading score!

I should be locked up for my recent score. For $275 I got:

10 lbs. IMR 4831 in sealed metal cans
+/- 7 lbs of Bullseye in a 15 lb yellow metal powder can
    +/- 5,000 pistol primers

    CH single stage press
    Lyman 450 press
    Lyman ST 6-hole turret press
Herters Super Model 234 6-hole turret

+/- 1000 bullets cast and jacketed

    Lots of misc shooting gear

    and 15 molds:

    9 Ideal single cavities

    358439 w/ hollow point ???
    311413
    311466
    360302 ???
    245496
    358156T
    311359
    308329 ???
    +/- 3/8" round ball

    RCBS 2 cav 44-240 SWC
    RCBS 2 cav 7mm-145-SiL

    Lee 1 cav 90360 ???
    Lee 6 cav .45

    Hensley & Gibbs #50
    Hensley & Gibbs #55

I did some research, but I can't find info on all of the molds. Can anyone chime in on the molds w/ question marks behind them?

Also, can the H&G #55 be used for for 9mm? The H&G list I found said its for 38 Super.

    Thanks in advance.

Good deal. I would say "Why doesn't that ever happen to me" but it has.

Some years ago I went to look at a bunch of reloading gear a widow had to sell. I took $200 cash with me, and told myself that was all I could spend, no matter what. As I went through box after box, can after can, I knew there was far more value there than I could afford, and told her so.

I asked, just out of curiosity, how much she wanted, and she said $200. She was glad to get rid of it, and I got a great deal. I kept some of it and sold the rest for a lot more than I paid.

I told my wife that she'll probably be selling my stuff cheap some day. She didn't think that was funny.

The Lyman 450 is a lubersizer, not a press. The 360302 is more commonly marked 358302, a 112 gr Himmelwright style wadcutter. The 308329 would be a 311329, a 185 gr SP GC design.

    Ya did real good.

I have a 360302, it is a fantastic bullet in my S&W Regulation Police. I size it .360 and it is extremely easy for even me to shoot accurately.

The 358439 is the factory hollow point version of the 358429.

The Lee 90360 should be the 285-135 mold Lee makes for 7mm.

    AARRR, I be a pirate.

Thanks for the replies and information. Funny thing is, that the guy I bought the stuff from is a reloader himself. He got the stuff from his father-in-law and apparently had no appreciation for the older equipment.

This is kind of the last piece of the puzzle for me. I haven't cast or reloaded anything yet, although I have been able to scrounge ~3,000 lbs of various types of lead over the last several years.

Now all I need is a 30 hour day so I can find time to play.

I was always taught to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder to find any!

Μολὼν λαβέ; approximate Classical Greek pronunciation [molɔ̀ːn labé], Modern Greek [moˈlon laˈve]), meaning "Come and take them" is a classical expression of defiance reportedly by King Leonidas in response to the Persian army's demand that the Spartans surrender their weapons at the Battle of Thermopylae.

Isn't it great to get a sweetheart deal once in awhile?! -- You just won the reloading lottery. Even if you keep a few items you want, you could still sell the rest and double...triple your money. NICE!!!!

The H&G #55 is notorious for being a piece of junk and a violation of the of the Governments Department of Bad Molds and Lead Wheel Weights and should be sent to an agent of the DBMLWW. It just so happens that I'm an agent of the DBMLWW. You can send the offending mold to me and any lead wheel weights that you chance upon in the future. Sorry no zinc or steel. PM to follow with shipping info. Thank you in advance for your patriotic duty and saving the enviornment. If you don't get an immediate response to your PM it's because I'm in South America or Hawaii saving them from the ravages of bad molds and lead wheel weights on their golf courses. Thank You

    i think you got took.
you now need to buy at least two 7mm rifles and at least 3 more 30 cal rifles.
plus some j-words for the powder.
now you also need at least one black powder gun and most likely 2-3 more handguns just to find out if any of them molds are any good.
so your little investment should total up to about 6k before it's all said and done.
best you just go head and pass that on to some other unsuspecting guy.
