I might as well contribute again. We had a little rain at our range where we shoot silhouettes. About 4 or 5 feet of water.

    Dang Crabo-

That brings back haunting memories. We were hit by floods in 86. What an ordeal. My next home purchase was high and dry. 100' over the creek this time. I said never again.

Dang Crabo. Are you any good shooting with goggles and flippers on? I've seen my share of flooding though.

Just got back to Houston after 2 weeks of vacation. We went to Kentucky bow hunting. I got one doe and shot a nice 8-point in full velvet. Lost the 8-point dang it. We bagged 7 does and another guy shot another 8-point we could not find.

Damn, it's still hot here. I'll be glad when it cools down a little. I brought a lot of reloading equipment with me since I'm planning on staying three weeks this time. I fixed up one of my Dillon RL 550 B presses on some 2X6" boards so I can clamp it down to the picnic table outside my camper. I'll bring casting equipment with me later when it starts cooling down a bit.

Neighbor lady lives down next to the creek and calls me to dispatch rattlers from time to time. Last one was bout 2' and 11 rattles.

I got her a Smith Airweight 38 and some snake shot, but she still doesn't like to shoot them. They stay off of our place located about 100' more in elevation. Only seen 2 in 11 years.

I saw a dead fawn along side the road Saturday on my way to work. Sad...

About two miles from the job site a doe came out of the woods and was running parallel to the road, between the shoulder and the woods.I slowed down rather quickly, as I didn't need any dents in my Merc, but she never did get on the roadway..

Today my wife saw a big dead doe alongside the road, fairly close to town. And there's been a kamikaze tree rat that likes to sit on the yellow line and wait until a car is upon it, and then scamper away. So far I've been able not to hit it twice..

    Must be the heat....

I cast the TL460-350-GC boolit. I shoot it without the gas check to 1300 fps and it's accurate as I can be at least.
