Just finished a deal with Jim for a holster. All went well and he shipped fast. No worries here.
Beefan ran a thread / post recently selling a couple books:
Six guns by Kieth, which I've wanted for years and a Gun Digest Treasury.
I quickly made a deal with him for the Kieth book and sent funds by USPS.
Last night I got home and found a flat rate box on the counter.
Completely "jazzed" that the long awaited Kieth book was finally in my grasp I butched that box pronto with a steak knife!
Imagine my surprise when not one but two books were removed from the box!
First thought was someone was gonna be getting an empty box!
Then I noticed a piece of paper in the cover of the Kieth book: a letter from Beefan explaining that no one had made an offer on the gun digest and he figured it to be better packing material than bubble wrap or newspaper so he included it in the deal.
What an outstanding guy!
Just wanted to let a great group of people know, as I'm sure they do, that we
have such outstanding and generous members amongst us.
beefan is a straightshooter. Bought a pair of Herrett grips, just as advertised, fast shipping all around good transaction.
