    NOE mold--I may be beyond help

    OK, I'm not cheap but am frugal. Got my first custom mold today. Up to now have been fairly satisfied with Lee's, happy with the old Lyman's I've found, disappointed with the one new Lyman I got, and my one pre-owned RCBS has been sweet. Needed something to help feed my 45apc, and in a moment of weakness ordered one from NOE. Followed instructions and have just finished off a pot, and all I can say is now I know why you'ns buy custom molds. I will now need help staying out of the vendor/group buy sections. To think this all started with a coleman stove, old iron pot and a used Lee mold. Where did I go wrong? Very happy in my affliction..have a good one.

    Welcome to our world. I think you are hooked. I love my NOE mold for my .44 and my BRP LLC mold I have for the 45/70. Take good care of them and they will deplete your stock pile of lead into piles of good boolits for shooting.

    There is no help. Just buy more. Some day I figure to ebay my old "junk" to make up for it.

    I am retired but got a part-time job just to pay for the custom moulds, Waage pots, Star sizers, and new Redding powder measure ! As MT Gianni suggested I also collect aluminum cans as well !

    you'll like that noe even more after a couple of more uses.
    i have a couple of original walt nei's that aren't as easy to cast with as the noe i have is.
    looking over the brp molds too lately.

    When I got onto this site, some years back, my desire to cast had about burned out. I met dutch4122 on here and between him, BRP (Bruce), NOE, group buys, and a lot of input info from the guys here- abouts my desire is re-lit and burning nicely now. Now if I could just stop buying more molds now?Robert

    Easy way to save is to get rid of a calibre. I had a 375 win contender barrel and 3 molds sold them and now I can show restraint and not buy any .375 cal stuff.

    Now I feel no guilt buying 22, 6.5mm, 7mm, 30, 338, 358, 41, 44, 45, and 475 cal molds.
