Rest in Peace Officer Sam Brownlee

We lost one our sheriff deputies here in Weld County Colorado yesterday.
Officer Sam Brownlee was shot and killed in the line of duty while trying to apprehend a suspect after a high speed chase.
Please say a prayer for this brave man and his family.

    News story here.

With regards to gun control in this country, everyone should be asking themselves one question:
What is it that this government feels they need to do, but can't do, unless the citizens of this nation are first disarmed?
(I seriously doubt you can come up with any plausible answers that you will like...)

It is always a sad day when an officer of the law is killed in the line of duty. My prayers go out to his family, friends and fellow officers.
This country has gone to hell but now there is hope for us.

I lost a good friend back in the 80s at Pontiac corr. center, stabbed to death by convicts. My thoughts and prayers go to Deputy Brownlee's family during this tragic time. Law enforcement officers have a hard job and put their lives on the line everyday.

    Another sad day

Another sad day for law enforcement. Trust in God, He will take care of Officer Brownlee's family.. My Prayers go out to Officer Brownlee's family and friends.

I've travelled this road 4 times in my law enforcement career. I lost a very good friend who was killed investigating a robbery, had 2 family relatives both shot and killed during traffic stops and I lost a fellow Trooper, shot and killed responding to a motel robbery, who had switched a vacation spot with me.
