Gun I wish I never sold..........

We've all had this conversation at one time or another in our shooting lives and there is always that gun you wish you kept. Looking back, what's the one gun you wish you never sold?

I once got rid of a JCP pump 12 ga. I sure don't wish I had it back.
Then there was a nameless 22 single shot, I don't miss it either.
I've kept all the rest, and miss only the time to shoot them. Their like children, that I wanted at the time, and wouldn't trade, now that their paid for.

Every one of them. I'd like them all back, not that there's that many of them.

Who-boy.........one ain't enough. I don't sell any guns anymore, learned my lesson on that over 20 years ago:

    1. Ruger Redhawk 7.5" .44 Mag

    2. Remingtion BDL 22-250

    3. Winchester Model 70 pre-64 (didn't sell this one, LENT it to a "friend" who got caught poaching and I never got it back. This was also my lesson on "lending" firearms to friends, circa 1974..........)

.................and number three should probably be number ONE..........................

Awe no!..Not another one of these!

The one that haunts me the most was a 1909 Argentine Mauser in absolute new condition, but that's just the tip of the iceberg...

On second thought, I won't go into the rest. Too many to list and too painful to think about.

    I've give away a bunch!

Don't regret any that I have given away. Some to nieces and nephews, children and grand children, kids that love to hunt and the parents didn't care, done and gone with no regrets! Biggest regret was a Model 65 Browning in 32-20, best turkey rifle I ever had. Distant secon was a pair of Winchester Model 12s, one in full and other in IC, and that's just because they were Model 12, never used them so out they went, now I do use the Ithaca Mag 10 that they were part of deal for so I guess that's a positive. Again a post that recalls fond memories and much emotion. 10 ga

Pre-64 Model 70 Varmint in .243 w/ Unertl 20x. Fired less than 100 times (about 90 by me).

Technically this was my dad's dream rifle in 1962, so it was his to sell…I just would have liked to have shot it more. But when he was laid off, it was one extravagance that he could liquidate.

I traded an M1 Carbine for my 1894C. At the time, money was a lot tighter than it is today. I would like to have the Carbine back, but I do enjoy the 1894C a lot more. I suppose if it really bothered me, I could buy another Carbine...

45 Cal. Flintlock Lancaster County Squirrel Rifle, My first rifle, I miss it dearly. I built it from an early kit from Dixie Gun Works when I was a boy and sold it in the 70s to get an AR15. Now the AR is shot out and I miss my real rifle.
