    primer cross reference chart

    I had to look up what a Remington 7 1/2 primer was, and I got carried away...and a chart was born.
    It's helpful to me, maybe to you too.

    UPDATE:

    Thanks for the sharp eyes and the correction ! I added the Federal match primers, I just missed 'em the first time.
    I did not include the military spec primers or the imported (Wolf, Mag-tech, Fiocchi) primers on purpose; I have never used any of them, and probably won't.

    Thanks for the many replies. I don't know how to sticky it; if someone knows how and wants to, go for it !

    ADD TO YOUR CHART..
    fed 210m is a large rifle match
    and that a 205m is a small rifle match
    only accurate rifles are interesting

    Rem. 6 1/2 primers are recommended for .22 Hornet, .218 Bee, .25/20 Win. and .32/20 only. some details on primer boxes and full details at 800-243-9700 or www.remington.com.

    The point remains that 6 1/2 is not recommended for higher pressure small rifle applications.
