HOLY HECK! There it is (on the left)! I know how they did that. So is it safe? Looks like they put a false shoulder on it to head space off of. This would be a lot of fun to take some 10mm brass and notch it shut filled with shot and fire semi auto from a 40 S&W < ( ( (

The more I learn the more I realized a long time ago there is little we can do that hasn't been done before but it is sure fun rediscovering it again.

So we need a challenge. What hasn't been done yet? I still would be very courious to hear more about this bird shot possiblity.

    Good shooting

I had a long conversation with Dave Corbin when he made some of my equipment for my business (he did not make all of it) and the consensus was...

Ideas are a dime a dozen...

Logistical application and production are the actual key... and never forget marketing.

Lots of stories about good and bad products and good and bad marketing to go with them...

Ever wondered why you buy so many mediocre products that are talked-up to be the next sliced bread with trails of lemmings in line to get it?

Ever run into something that IS the next sliced bread and nobody knows about it or the lemmings poo on the idea?

So often I see an inverse of popularity and usefulness/quality that I have the habit of thinking “it’s popular - what is wrong with it? it has to have a flaw.”

One of the joys of reloading, swaging and casting is if we have and idea - we can just do it!

Yes, I did. They patterned great, but the load would not cycle the gun. The slide would come back about 80% of the way, and then re-close on the fired case. The patterns were fired on notebook paper with a snake and rabbit drawn on them, and all the rounds put a fairly good number of shot on the silhouettes at about 10-12 feet. Used #8-1/2 shot, as that was the smallest I had on hand at the time.

We discussed upping the powder charge, but I was worried about burn-through on the wad, so we had talked about trying a medium-burning powder and reinforcing the poster-board next to the powder with another layer of just the paper posterboard.

Project is kind-of dormant right now, due to weather and other things coming up. I have no doubt that we can get it to work with just a little more finessing.

Ok, thanks. It will be sometimes after the first of the year for me. Wish the damned companies would stop sending all those bills.

I have four group buy molds coming, and a .44 Magnum revolver, a new tool from Brian, plus Christmas, plus bills......

(Notice I put the important things first??)

Sure do! It will take me a couple weeks to put together the notch punches but I have another 10 dies in stock ready to put together and ship out.

I have actually updated this offer with a new design though this fist generation die is also avialble.

There is a post of mine here recently that I showed the latest offerings. I know I need to get the web sight together and will get it done so many new potential products I am coming up with all the time though and I like to make sure they are perfect first.

    Thanks
