    .355" 220 and 230 grain for the 9x57mm

OK here's what I have so far...

220gr bullets with a gas check at the base. They measure .355" for my 9x57mm Mauser. The core is a little hard but it's a concept bullet anyways so this is prototyping.

And here are the ones I'm using fired 50 BMG primer cups as the base inside the jacket. This brings the weight up to 230grs.

Just curious ~ what's the groove diameter on your 9X57mm? I would have expected it to be a few thousandths larger than .355".

It's .355" I slugged it. It's very difficult to get bullets for it and the .358" bullets work but they aren't the right diameter and can cause dangerous pressures.
