    Ain't they purdy

On the bottom are a few (maybe 700 or so) 225gr .452dia LRN from my Lyman 452374 DC. It was one of those casting sessions that required little effort,ya know when the mold is the perfect temp and your tempo is perfect and the little silver beauties are just jumping out of the mold like they're scared of it.
On the top are some (perhaps 1000 or so) 120gr .356dia (more like .358) TC boolits from my Lyman 356402 4C.
I didn't do them all today but it was a good day at the casting bench just the same.

Cast about 300 460-350 ranch dogs the other day.

I'm running out of lead though.

Wasn't today, but I've not been on-line in a few days...

Cast up a few hundred of my 9mm Slippery 135s and a couple hundred 41 RBs with a mould borrowed from fellow board member dcp. They came out beautiful, but no times for pics right now either....

Got through cleaning the carpet and fired up the Lee 20lb. Cast 1100 Lee 102gr .356 and 850 Lee 125gr 2R .356. Now if they would only run themselves through the lubrisizer I'd be all set. Oh well, I am going to cast some more of them later this week and, probably Thursday, melt down the 500lbs of ww I picked up from my father-in-law on 10-30. Vacation week and doing what I like.

I turned some dirty old reclaimed shotgun slugs and other scrap into some nice new looking ingots. They stack a lot better that way. I sent some off to Lafaun to get another mold. It's a vicious cycle.

I just turned a bucket of w/w into 65 lbs of ingots. Lots of steel and zinc in that bucket. But it was a cheap one so I don't mind.
