Cast 44&1/2 lbs of Lee 175 TC. A little over 1700. With what I did yesterday that should keep me occupied for a while. Also received my Montana Gold order of 1000 95gr .380 FMJ.

I cast just shy of 1,000 .45 ACP with a Lee 2 cavity today in freezing Canadian temperatures. Keeps the mold cool so you can keep a fast, steady pace. I've already tumble lubed and laid them out to dry on wax paper for sizing tomorrow.
Since I've been reading this forum for so long (and casting from info I got from it) I figured I may as well finally join and say hi.

Today was my 1st casting session……….(100) 9’s, (100) 40’s and (30) 480’s. I packed it up early because it looked like rain. No need for the tinsel fairy to show up on the 1st session.
One word………..ADDICTED
Thanks 45nut! I like your nick
Rain was the least of my worries today. I have my setup in the garage just nearly under the door opening with a fan, and I watched snowflakes gently fall the entire time I was casting. They weren't going into the casting pot, partly because of way the air blows from the fan. But from previous experience I've found out that a few snowflakes here and there falling into your pot don't cause lead explosions or do anything particularly interesting at all.
100 or so Lyman #358345 115gr SWC!
120lbs of ww's into 92lbs of ingots. Have more ww's to do, but I was lazy today.

if it was easy would it be as worthy ? or as long of lasting impression ? the hardest of lessons are the best of teachers [shrugz]" To sit in judgment of those things which you perceive to be wrong or imperfect is to be one more person who is part of judgment, evil or imperfection."

Poured a few 245KTs for a friend to try out. He used to be somewhat leery of cast, but over a yr he might be starting to come to the silver side of things. Plus he is a cheap bastage and I have told him what I can cast and load for. I already got a buddy that works with us scouring the country for WW for me. This second buddy I have taught to reload and he is loving reloading and the savings which of course he shoots up
Hide sight I should have took the time to empty the pot, but I thought I was in a hurry to get all the vehicles fueled up and the gas cans filled. yada yada yada

Last night it was about 600 Lee 158gr FN 358.
The night before it was about 300 RCBS 257 120gr SP and about 300 RCBS 243 100gr SP.
Today will probly be more of the Lee 358's as it is too cold to go outside. Tempature is holding right at -20* right now. Hopfully the wind dont blow today like it did yesterday.
At least I've been getting some casting and sizing done. Unfortunatly, its too cold to work on gun loads. I keep busy feeding the woodstove.
About 5lbs of slingshot ammo.
No lube or sizing necessary.
Just received a new mold from Accurate molds a .32 wadcutter cast about 700
cute little boolits.
A couple of hundred of these. I just got the muld back from Lee this morning and wanted to try it out.

Old enough to know better, young enough to do it anyway!
Men who don't understand women fall into two categories: bachelors and husbands!
16lbs of RCBS .40 200 grain SWCs.
They came out a little smaller than I wanted .3995-.400", but at least I won't have to size them.
