Reduced 'bout 144 pounds of recovered range scrap into 104 pounds of cleaned & fluxed working stock...and I've got another 180-some pounds of raw yet to process before I start my winter casting.

    I didn't count them... But guessing about 750 120G LEE .314 bullets and 300 155g LEE 10MM bullets.

First casting for both. A friend lent me the special purchase 32cal 120g mold just yesterday and I was anxious to see the product it produces. Darn nice lil' bullet!!

The 10MM was a new acquisition to me from LEE to try a lead bullet for my 3GUN activities. (I shoot a 40) If it works well I'll invest in a multi gang mold.

Just got two new 2 cavity molds from Lee to try out. 452-228-1r and 358-140-SWC. Cast up a bunch, and as soon as my order of Super Durable Wet Black comes in from PbtP I'll get them coated up and loaded

Didn't cast any boolits, but smelted some alloy - 15+ lbs 5.5%Sb, 8 lbs Pb, 1.4 lbs 50/50 solder made up about 35 lbs of good alloy. Too Dam hot to be out in the sun very much...

I didn't cast anything today, but I did get a new mold in the mail. It's the TL365-124-TC Lee mold. It's just the two cavity version. I boogered up my other 9mm mold pretty good so I needed something to get me through the next six months or so until I order a really high quality mold.

    Ideal 358 156

I acquired this mold recently, finally got time to test it out, it has a sticky cavity...REALLY STICKY... it was a challenge to get the 20+ boolits cast (shown in photo). This mold looks awesome, but needs some TLC. on the plus side, I was glad to see that the old GC's I had on the shelf, fit it nicely.

Attachment 223387Attachment 223388Swede Nelson teased us up with a 4th of July 20% discount on NOE molds and I just had to bite! I ordered a 264 gr Keith 4 banger and it arrived on Saturday. I scrubbed her down with a toothbrush and some dish detergent and poured a few. These are a bit soft, the mix was 1lb 12oz of lino and 2.4 oz of tin with 16.5 lbs of pure lead. It makes a 270 gr boolit and I PC'd them with Smokes Carolina Blue, and sized them to .430. As soon as I have my cataract removed, I'm going to try them in a few 44's and maybe in my 44 spl S&W model 24-6.

Cast about 720 120 gr Lee TC boolits. Took only a couple of hours with the 6 cavity mold. Tim
