anything is possible. But is it practical? if your wanting a more robust 224 jacket try copper tubing or sierra or berger for jackets. Or you could draw your own from a gilding metal coin. All of those options would be better than a plated jacket because the jacket would still not be as strong as a copper tubing or drawn gilding metal jacket.
