    I saw a M-N rebarreled to 45/120..........single shot of course. Beautiful walnut stock on it. Priced at $395.00 I think.

    The rim of the 7.62x54R is larger than the Siamese Mauser bolt face( which fits 30-40 Krag, .303 British, and belted mag, incidentally). I will agree that the Siamese would be much better to work with.

    There were several members on here that all had 416 Russians done on MN's. Hard Cast 416 Taylor, Badger Ed, 357 Maximum and BA Bore come to mind, all UP Michigan members IIRC. It's been a while though maybe a decade, think Badger Ed owned the reamer.
