Sweet Ol' Carole has joined our son Rick on that higher plain. She is finally out of pain, out of dialysis, out of bowel obstructions, out of inconvenience, and may now be able to do some of the things she has been missing for the last several years. We shared the world for 55 of her 75 years. See you later, Sweetie...

One of the most endearing sights in the world is the vision of a naked good-looking woman leaving the bedroom to make breakfast. Bolivar Shagnasty (I believe that Lazarus Long also said it, but I can't find any record of it.)

My condolences, Echo. I am glad to see your recognition of her being in a peaceful state.
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!

I am truly sorry to hear of your loss Echo. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Words fail in times like this.

Lord, make me fast and accurate. Let my aim be true and my hand faster than those who would seek to destroy me. Grant me victory over my foes and those that wish to harm to me and mine. Let not my last thought be “If only I had my gun”; and Lord if today is truly the day that You call me home, let me die in a pile of brass.

I am out of town, enjoy your holidays.
